Shawna E. Brackett, Director of Client Services for Axial Benefits, was recently named to Employee Benefit Advisor’s list of most influential women in benefit advising.
In a largely male-dominated profession, EBA’s 2018 Top Women in Benefit Advising stand out for both personal and professional reasons. Some of these winners were credited with finding substantial savings for employer clients and strengthening their organization’s bottom line, while others advocated for a holistic approach to technology, behavioral finance, level-funding techniques, mind-body healing and metrics to track corporate objectives.
"Shawna's importance to Axial Benefits cannot be stressed enough", said Mick Rodgers, Managing Partner for ABG. He added, "Her work ethic and industry knowledge has allowed us to grow substantially over the past couple of years, and we are proud that the EBA was able to recognize that hard work."
Shawna has been with Axial Benefits over 8 years, and oversees the firms' entire book of business. Starting as a Junior Account Manager, she has worked her way up to the number two position at the company. In addition to Axial's core business, she also is in charge of The Staffing Exchange, a national staffing coalition with over 10,000 insured lives.
